I just came across this article from the CSIRO about a new BMS/Lead Acid Battery they are developing. It would be interesting to see if they would consider trialing the battery in an EV conversion if someone would like to contact them. It would be fantastic if this thing takes off, though i am growing ever more sceptical about up and coming batteries!
